Studies on Halfway Houses

Some DC residents fear that their housing values will decrease if a halfway house or other kind of community based facility opens that provides rehabilitative services to troubled populations. However, as housing value trends show, actual sale prices have continued to rise in neighborhoods within the District where these facilities operate. In order to determine the impact the presence of these facilities have on the resale values of homes, D.C.
