JPI Executive Director Tracy Velazquez joins a panel of experts on the issue of serving life sentences hosted by Open Society Foundations in Washington, DC on Wednesday, October 24, 2012, from 12-2pm.
Additional panelists include: Ashley Nellis, The Sentencing Project; Nancy Mullane, Reporter and Author of Life After Murder; and Walter Lomax, Maryland Restorative Justice Initiative (MRJI). The event will be moderated by Marc Mauer, executive director of The Sentencing Project.
